About Me

Hi there! My name is Ashton (unfortunately, a name which leads everyone to assume I'm a boy when they hear it) and I was born in Hull in 1992. I'm currently studying Mathematics at the University of Hull and plan on teaching maths to KS4 and KS5 once I have graduated.

Being a bit of a nerd my whole life means I'm obsessed with the usual "geeky" things; Harry Potter, video games, arts and crafts, The Walking Dead, puzzles, cross-stitching... You get the idea! Fortunately, this means I usually have a lot to talk about and a lot of things to keep me occupied. Now I just need more hours in the day!

I have a wonderful boyfriend who has suffered and put up with me since August 2010, and I am still consciously winding up him up day by day whilst he continues to treat me like a princess... Don't tell him I said that though! We are currently in the process of buying our very first house, and though it's been a lot more stressful than I anticipated, I can't wait to make a home. I will miss the family cat and our friendly postman though.

One thing I absolutely love doing is going away, whether it be just for a weekend stay in a town or a two week break abroad. You can't beat chilling out by a pool all day and then doing a bit of late night shopping before settling down with food and cocktails, as well as the odd day out to the zoo or a waterpark! I've visited some awesome places and made amazing memories along the way.
